Molly Preston is a Portland, OR based editor and producer with a range of features, short films, commercials, and music videos under her belt. Evolution of Evil, a feature film Molly produced and edited, can be seen on Amazon Prime. The most recent feature she produced, The Brain That Wouldn’t Die (Remake) is currently in post-production, set to enter the festival circuit this year. In addition to helping other filmmakers achieve their visions, Molly writes and directs short films and music videos. Her short film Carl, noted for its use of both digital and 16mm film, won the Best of Oregon Short Film Award at the 2015 Oregon Independent Film Festival. As a part of the 44th Northwest Filmmaker’s Festival, Molly was one of ten Portland filmmakers chosen to participate in the Kodak 50 Foot Challenge, where she created a human stop motion music video on Super 8 with all in-camera edits. Molly is currently in pre-production on her first feature film, Freedom, WI.
