Meet the Cast

Ayanna Berkshire

as Andrea

Ayanna Berkshire (She, Her, Hers), is an American stage and screen actress who is most recognized for her character, Cora, in the fan-favorite film, Twilight, based on the popular book series by Stephenie Meyer.

 

Ayanna a Resident Artist of Artists Repertory Theatre, who’s past shows include: The Revolutionists, Wolf Play,Teenage Dick, Small Mouth Sounds, Between Riverside and Crazy, An Octoroon, The Importance of Being Earnest, A Civil War Christmas, Grand Concourse, The Understudy, Intimate Apparel, and Race.

 

Ayanna can be seen in the upcoming play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime at Portland Center Stage, February-April, 2020. 

 

Upcoming film and television appearances include: In The Vault, The Shasta Triangle, Again and Again, Boundary Springs, The Dark Divide and Something Like A Rockstar.

Wendy Allegaert

as Denise

Wendy Allegaert is an award-winning actress, producer, writer and AmSat certified Alexander Technique Teacher.  She is thrilled to be included in this wonderful adventure.

 

After living in New York for well over a decade, she moved to Portland Oregon four years ago. Since her move, she has been kept busy as a storyteller, clown, and writer and producer in the Portland area. She can be seen frequently at open mics like the Moth and Be Space, where she runs the monthly Open Floor. She also co-runs Stumptown Clown Collective, which organizes workshops and ongoing classes that focus on the healing power of clowns.  

While in New York, she worked frequently in the downtown and off-Broadway theater scene. Favorite collaborators have been award-winning directors Robert Woodruff, Ken Schmoll, Sonja Moser, Nancy Gabor. Favorite performance credits include Dixon Place, Theatre For a New Audience, Columbia University, White Space, Alice Forth Floor, The Image Theatre.   

John San Nicolas

John San Nicolas (he/him)

John is a San Diego native and a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, but has resided in Portland since 2005. He is a Resident Artist at Artists Repertory Theatre where he has performed in more than 15 productions including Trevor, The Motherfucker With the Hat, Magellanica, Grand Concourse, 1984, Everybody, Small Mouth Sounds, And An Octoroon. He will be performing in Anthony Hudson's play Looking For Tiger Lily. an Artists Rep. production opening May 8th at Portland Center Stage at the Armory. He has has also appeared at Portland Center Stage (Twist Your Dickens, Shakespeare's Amazing Cymbeline), Portland Playhouse (Bingo With the Indians, Bloody Bloody ANdrew Jackson) Third Rail Rep. (A Noble Failure, The Pain and the Itch), Oregon Children's Theatre, Miracle Theatre, Shaking the Tree, Imago Theatre, and many others. He has appeared on the TV Series' Leverage and Portlandia and has worked on several local features and short films. He is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA and serves as a member of the Portland Area Liaison Committee.

Barbara Passolt (Judge Powell) has enjoyed National Tours; Me and My Girl (with Tim Curry), Into The Woods, City of Angels, Annie (with Sally Struthers), Regional Theater and West Coast Premieres of Enter the Guardsman, Putting It Together, Who's Hot/Who's Not, Little Shop of Horrors, Guys & Dolls, Evita, The Last Session, The Sound of Music, On The Twentieth Century (Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, Boston, St. Louis, Houston, Seattle), Film, Television, and Voice Over.  Education: Bachelor of Music; The Ohio State University, MFA, Drama; UC Irvine.  She is thrilled to be a part of the Portland Theatre Community (Lakewood Theatre, Fertile Ground, Original Practice Shakespeare),the Augustana 8:30 Band, and is honored to tell the stories that define our times.
